1st Day of AC

Temps have been in the 80s for the last week. We’ve been relying on lake breezes to keep the house cool, but no breeze today.

So . . . we turned on the house air conditioning. Both our dogs love it — they lay on the AC floor vents.

For Wisconsinites think of it this way . . . about the time you turn off your heat, we turn on the AC.

Here’s our forecast for the week:

Lake Havasu Art Show

ArtGuildShow2015_00Jan & I checked out “Art at the Lake” on Friday afternoon.

Jan is a member of the Havasu Art Guild (not to be confused with Dune’s spice guild) who sponsored the art show.

Besides watercolor (Jan’s current interest), there were works in oil, acrylics, mixed media, . . .

While Jan talked with other art class members, I wandered around eating hors d’oeuvres and taking photos:
