We’re Back !

We pick up our newly fixed SeaView RV tomorrow from https://sierraheavyduty.com in Sonora.

They’ve had it for about 5 weeks and repaired several items – biggest of which is the Powergear leveling system. I found out that it was me who caused the problem in the first place during my “repair” attempt . . . more on that later.

Anyway, we were able to make all the reservations for our RV trip in short order and arranged several week-long stays in campgrounds.

Most of the campgrounds will be new to us and one in particular we have to point out – Costanoa Camp Resort. This ocean-side campground not only has terrific views, but also a good restaurant on site. We’ve included their menus . . .

CANCELLED !!!

Yep, we had to cancel our Summer RV trip because of a serious problem with our RV. On the plus side, we’re getting most of our campground deposits reimbursed.

Our Powergear leveling system stopped working. We need that to keep our motorhome “balanced” in order to open the slide outs and operate the fridge.

So . . .

We’ve had our SeaView in the shop for a month, mostly trying to get the leveling system pump working, but so far no dice. If push comes to shove, we’ll have a new leveling system installed for mucho $$$, but we’re not quite there yet. Should find out this week.
