One Last Drive in the Mountains

We’re getting ready to leave Bishop and return to Lake Havasu, but we just had to take one more drive up the mountains.

Saturday was a perfect day for the drive — low cloud deck and clear skies.

By the way, we used a photo taken from our drive as the new header image on each of our web pages. The photo shows Mount Tom taken from Line Road outside of Bishop.

Earthquake Fault

Bishop to Mammoth Lakes Trip (click to enlarge)

About a week ago we drove to Mammoth Lakes with our friends Bev, Herb, and Katy the dog to check out the Earthquake Fault in the Inyo National Forest.

We also took our dog Flirt along who enjoyed it enormously.
