It’s Windy (and cold) Here!

Wind_Damage_01

Over the weekend we had some pretty good gusts over Lake Havasu — enough to rip the porch from one of the park units. There were also a couple of ripped awnings.

And insult to injury . . . temps dropped to the mid-40’s at night. Bring out that big quilt.

I’ll take that 40 degrees…. it’s 12 degrees with a -8 wind chill. Bummer about the wind damage…windy here too. Keep warm and safe.

Sorry about the wind damage there. Well, it’s warmed up to 14F so far today but the sun is shining and the winds are calmer. A bit too early for such winter weather but I guess we’ll just have to toughen up. Kath

    • Luckily we didn’t get any wind damage, but some other folks took it on the nose.
