Go South, young man!
Instead of heading West for the Pacific Coast, we’re making a left turn and taking I-15 south.
We figure we’ll see the Pacific Coast when we go to Alaska.
However, we were able to land a reservation at a campground (Zion River Resort) near Zion National Park which we’ve wanted to visit for a long time.
Jan is serving as the Activities Director for Zion.
In the mean time, we’ll spend Labor Day in Nugget RV Park a super dog friendly campground in St. Regis, MT.

Zion River Resort looks dreamy! I recall the section of that infamous I-15 route that Nancy & I took when she moved out to CA. The route that lead us down I-15 along the Virgin River Gorge – Totally was not our ‘favorite’ part of the trip. Yikes! We were pretending to be brave as Nancy’s Ford Escort hurtled down, down, down that stretch of I-15 as we were silently screaming all the way. We laugh about it now.. but we were terrified at the time.
Enjoy your time at Zion River Resort and taking in all the sights around the area. Mary H.
We were also able to book a campground for several days near Bryce Canyon.
