Flirt Taking a Swim

Flirt will first take a brief plunge then come out of the water and shake.

After that she’ll swim back and forth close to shore while occasionally blowing bubbles with her nose.

Flirt likes to swim with her back feet touching the bottom.

However, after a few minutes, she’ll start swimming further out. At first her front paws will break the water when she can’t touch bottom, but after a minute it’s smooth sailing (or pawing).

Hummingbirds & a Shameless Plug

There are 3 hummingbirds battling for a space at our feeder.

You’ll have to look very closely.

Oh, and that FOR SALE sign . . . see we’re selling our park model.

Time for some major hanging out without worrying about the next campground we’re driving to.

Boulder City, NV – Campground #50

This is it — our last stop before returning to Crazy Horse!

After leaving Crazy Horse Campground in Lake Havasu City on February 27 — it’s been seven months on the road. What a trip!

Here are some highlights from our 7 months . . .

• Makoshika State Park (August) — an unexpected find in Montana
• Breakdown! (July) — definitely not a high point, but a “learning experience”
• Ann’s Italian Restaurant (June) — it will always be our second home.
• Taliesin (June) –Frank Lloyd Wright. What more needs to be said?
• Pioneer Beach RV Resort (March) — letting Flirt run free on the Padre Island National Seashore. One happy dog.
• SXSW in Austin, TX (March) — greatest moment: seeing Yoonmirae at KPOP Night Out.
