And Then There Were Two
Say hello to the Flame Seedless table grape . . .

By the way, we purchased the Flame vine, potting soil, and the half wine barrel at a local store.
The wine barrel was 1/2 what I paid for the other wine barrel that I bought on Amazon. Imagine, inexpensive wine barrels in California. Who would have thought? Duh.

Good luck with the grapes. Looks like a fun project.
This looks like a very enjoyable growing project. I’m reminded of two ‘experiments’ done in containers on my balcony garden. 1) growing potatoes in a large container. Don’t do it! Weeks, months of tending to a large soil-filled container.. wondering if all was going well. The plant was trying to take over the whole balcony.. scary. And then the harvest: a dozen very small potatoes.. at a cost of 900% over what it cost at the grocery store. 2) A water garden… WAY Cool experiment. I would do it again.
I LOVE the photo of sleeping Jan.. so sweet. Thanks Tom.
