Where to Spend the Winter?
A number of people have asked us “How do you determine where you spend the Winter?”
There is no simple answer, but one of the main factors is, of course, the weather.
Several months before we started full timing, I created a monthly average temperature map for a number of cities in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
While we didn’t base our Winter home decision solely on temperature, this map helped — US_Weather_Map (3.8MB PDF).

I’d bet it’s on your list, but don’t miss Sedona. I was there earlier this year for the first time – fine scenery, hiking and Mexican food. The balloon festival looked terrific. I’m enjoying living vicariously through your blog. Happy travels.
