“We’re behind the CVS”
These were our directions to the Riverside Adventure Trails campground in Bullhead City, AZ.
We found it, and it’s a good little campground with a great monthly rate — $345 which is under $12/day. We budget over $30. Great!
This monthly rate includes electricity which is not typical in our experience. We’ve found that when you camp by the month, you pay for the electric.
Anyway, it’s a good location. There are grocery stores (Safeway and Smith’s), Starbucks, banks, hardware stores , . . .

DISH Super Joey Networking

Last Days at Crazy Horse
February 28 Rainbow
We left Crazy Horse on Friday, March 7, and our last week there was special for two reasons — my sister Mary visited for a week, and Jan and I lived in a Crazy Horse park model while our RV was serviced.

As luck would have it, my sister arrived during a freakish rainy weekend in Lake Havasu. However, even this Havasu weather was much much better than what was happening in Milwaukee, my sister’s home.

Mark Hahn Havasu 300
The 10th Annual Mark Hahn Havasu 300 took place today on the Crazy Horse Campground beach.
Basically, a bazillion jet skis raced around Lake Havasu for 300 miles — 10 miles per lake lap. Several hours of racing so it’s called an endurance race.
The campground seniors were looking forward to this race with great fear and loathing. It promised to disturb our nirvana with loud noise and young people.
Actually it turned out to be fun because of loud noise and young people.
We have no idea who won, but here’s a short video of the day which started at 7:00 am . . .
